Inshore FAQ
How much does Inshore cost?
Free to start: unlimited catch and harvest logging, up to 20 saved spots, tides for today and the next two days, and all of Intel. Inshore Pro unlocks unlimited saved spots and full tide day navigation (past and future) at $1.99/month or $11.99/year for founding members. Your rate never goes up while you stay subscribed. Pro features will continue to be added at no additional cost.
What does the founding rate lock mean?
The rate you subscribe at is the rate you keep for as long as your subscription stays active. New Pro features are included at no additional cost.
How long is the founding rate available?
It is a launch offer and will change in the future. Anyone subscribed before then keeps the founding rate for as long as they stay subscribed.
Does it work without cell signal?
Yes. Spot, log, and catch data are always available offline, and everything syncs automatically once you're back in range. Intel works from the season and rules data on your phone. Map tiles and live tide lookups do need a connection.
How does the tide data get added to my logs?
Every log automatically captures the tide phase, height, and direction from the closest NOAA station, so you can look back and see what conditions produced at each spot.
What is Intel?
Intel is the tab for seasons and rules. Set your location and it shows what is in season near you, what is changing soon, and the whole year at a glance. Every species page carries the size and bag limits, the season, best conditions and baits, and the dated source behind each rule. It covers twelve coastal states (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey) and works offline from the data on your phone. Use it as a reference, not as the law: rules change between our checks, so confirm with your state agency before you keep a fish.
How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?
Select "Restore Purchases" under Settings.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Delete individual spots, logs, or catches anytime from within the app, or remove your whole account from Settings → Delete My Account (see Delete Your Account above). Email support@technicalangler.com if you need help.
Can I export my data?
Yes, active Pro members will be able to export their data. This feature is currently in development. If you need your data before it's built into the app, please contact support.
